As we reflect on the academic year 2023-24, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community. Your support has made a significant impact on the lives of students at George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College. Thanks to your continuous contributions, we have awarded scholarships to 18 deserving individuals, opening the doors to their academic dreams.
But that's not all! Through our endowed scholarships, including the Women's Club of Great Falls Endowment, the Doris Fisher Irwin Endowment, and the Holly Ann Kuga Endowment, we have ensured lasting support for three additional future scholars. These endowments are essential in providing consistent assistance to students who may otherwise face financial barriers to their education.
We are also excited to share our new initiative, which extends support for two 2022-23 Early Identification Program (EIP) alumni graduates for an additional three years. In addition, we are thrilled to fund two new students beginning in Spring 2024. This initiative highlights our ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and lifelong learners.
Our focus on GMU’s Early Identification Program (EIP) is especially significant, as it empowers first-generation college students to thrive in their academic pursuits and become responsible global citizens. We believe that every student deserves the chance to succeed, and your contributions help pave the way for them to achieve their goals.
Your support truly makes a difference, providing a comprehensive solution for students and shaping a brighter future for our community. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to education and empowerment!
